Windows Vista, bad rep

How did Vista get such a bad rep?
I've been using Vista for about three years now and have had far less
trouble with it than my wife has had with her Windows 7. Was it that
so many people Had XP, many still do, and it was so dependable?

Entirely possible, but not necessarily true.
It just may be a little too complicated or 'head heavy' for some.
Yet for all I know it is still widely used in the business world, as
well as by the individual, only no one brags about it.
Myself I like Vista immensely, because it works good for me.
Maybe its reputation ought to be revised in a positive way.
